Day 3 – the rain takes on London

We planned to do as much external sight-seeing yesterday because the weather didn’t look like it was going to be as nice today. And we were right till about 1pm it was POURING outside, luckily our hotel supplied umbrellas for our use. When we purchased the London eye tickets we opted to also get a discounted ticket for Madame Tousse wax museum. That was a lot of fun. A couple of souvenir shops were close by and Lauren did a good job talking down the price so we both got some nice sweatshirts.

We then continued our journey to see the famous train stations and got some action shots on platform 9 3/4. If you don’t know what that is I’m sure you’ll see some pictures later. After we finished going around the train station the weather was starting to clear up and we grabbed a quick bite before exploring some shops along the streets and getting some additional pictures.

We stopped at a pub for a late lunch/dinner (our eating patterns have been a little messed up since coming here). The beer was really good! I got the traditional fish and chips, didn’t have as much taste as I thought it would but it was still good! Lauren opted for the classic American burger.

It was great, but short time exploring London, defiantly would like to come back again, especially because everything is in English. I didn’t get to see any Aston Martins though, I saw every other luxury car or super car :(.
