Sign Up for TrueBlue and Travel Before April 16 to Earn 5,000 Bonus!
jetBlue has always been a highly regarded airline in terms of customer satisfaction and a low cost option but it hasn’t been until recently that they have been starting to focus more on there loyalty program, TrueBlue. With limited flights compared to the heavy weights of United, Delta, American, etc JetBlue is looked more as a budget carrier with high value, and added amenities rather than a true award travel partner.
Currently jetBlue is running a promotion that new TrueBlue members can earn a bonus of 5,000 points if they book and travel before April 16th. The 5,000 bonus points can be enough to book a one way flight to Florida from NY during a flash sale event! I don’t currently work towards building jetBlue points but this could be a great deal for someone looking to build a wealth of points for cheap.
Start your Wealth with jetBlue Plus Credit Card
**I do not currently have the jetBlue Plus credit card and all reviews are based on research and former planning**
Currently jetBlue has the jetBlue Plus Credit Card offer of 30,000 after $1,000 in purchases within the 1st 3 months.
For Domestic: That is enough for almost 2 RoundTrip tickets to Orlando on normal price. If you find a flash sale you could get even more value. Like United and Delta jetBlue does has low fees and taxes for reward travel within the US of around $5.60 per leg.
For International: The sign up bonus good enough for a round trip ticket to Punta Cana! Which is an excellent deal! The downside is there are higher fees and taxes for traveling internationally.
The Power of Transfer Partners!
This is where the power of transfers can come into play, with regard to searching and understanding dollar value. If you and your significant other both sign up for the jetBlue Plus Credit Card and meet the spending requirement of $1,000 in 3 months you each can have 30,000 points. If/when you find an amazing flash sale you can be prepared to fill the gap with the Citi Thankyou points from a Citi rewards card.
Remember you can easily reach minimum spending requirements by leveraging Plastiq for spend on big bills such as mortgage, car loan, student loan, etc.
